For many years I have read books, talk to people, talked to my brother all in order to understand Christianity. Most recently I have been listening to a series of lectures on the Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament and these have given me much to think about. What to do with a man named Yeshua of Nazareth – some call him Jesus but that is his Greek name, not his Hebrew name.

So much of recent scholarship has brought to light an alternative way to understand what is written in the New Testament books. What I am planning to do with this blog is share some of my thoughts about what I am reading.
